Blue Mosque
Binbirdirek, At Meydanı Cd No:10, 34122 Fatih/İstanbul, Türkiye
The Sultanahmet Mosque, known as the Blue Mosque by international travelers for centuries, is the last monumental example of the Ottoman golden age. Its construction took between 1609 and 1616. The most visible features of this wonder of architecture are its bold style rising under a combination of perfect domes from outside and the irreplaceable blue tile panels inside. It is usually at the top of the lists of travelers in Istanbul.
